Growth on X comes from a mix: threads for depth, single posts for frequency, replies for reach into other people's audiences, quote posts for positioning. Most creators do one of the four. The X Content Calendar plans two weeks with all of them, around three content pillars.
This guide explains the pillars, the daily reply target, the thread schedule and the week-one check in X Analytics.
Three pillars and a positioning line
Pillars are the three things the account is known for. Every post fits one. The report names them from your input and writes the positioning line that ties them together — the same line that should be in the bio.
The daily mix
Each day has a slot type: a single post, a reply session with a target count, a quote post, or a thread. Replies are scheduled like content because they are content — the report sets a daily target and names the kind of accounts to prioritise. Threads are scheduled two or three times a week on the days your audience is most active.
Batch writing and the week-one check
One writing session a week produces the single posts and thread drafts; replies happen live. After week one, the report names the numbers to check in X Analytics — impressions per post type, profile visits, follows — and what would change the plan for week two.
Tips
- State the time you actually have per day. Fifteen minutes of replies daily beats an hour on Sunday.
- Write threads in the batch session and post them on the scheduled days; do not write them live.
- Use the X Reply Strategy Planner for the reply frameworks; this calendar sets when, that one sets how.
Common mistakes
- Threads only — High effort, low frequency. The feed rewards showing up daily.
- Replies without a target — "Reply more" never happens. A number does.
- Changing pillars weekly — Pillars take a month to register with an audience. Hold them.
Worked example
Input: Niche: home espresso. Goal: grow to 5k followers and sell a grind-chart PDF. 30 minutes a day.
What the report returned: Pillars: technique fixes · gear without hype · results from readers. Positioning: "One espresso fix a day, no $2k grinder." Daily: 10 replies; Mon/Thu threads; Tue/Fri single posts; Wed quote post; weekend results posts. Week-one check: replies → profile visits → follows.

Does it pick posting times?
It suggests windows from your audience location but treats consistency as more important.
Can it plan for a launch?
